Lisa Alfano took a sabbatical at age 52 and has gone on to re-establish herself in Portland, Oregon, and become a competitive triathlete. "Do not listen to anyone who tells you that you are having a midlife crisis," she says. "Follow the voice of your soul; she will never steer you wrong."
